Lewd or art, back lit sundress

I was out shopping today. I was walking up to the door of the store, facing directly into a low morning sun which was casting long. low shadows across the parking lot. Ahead of me I saw a couple walking toward the same entrance. They were both rimmed in sunlight and her dress was remarkably translucent. I adore catching the silhouette of a woman's figure through her clothing. Few looks are as enticing, completely covered yet seductively revealing.

This woman's dress revealed far more than merely her silhouette. I can state with absolute certainty that she was wearing nothing underneath the cream and yellow floral patterned fabric. If someone were describing this scene to me it would seem lewd. For me, in this instance, it was breathtakingly beautiful. A photo or painting of her belongs on display where the composition and textures could be savored.

As they entered the shadow cast by the building it was like throwing a switch. The dress instantly became opaque. It was form fitting and flirty but perfecting appropriate for being out with the vanilla public.

She must have know the character her dress took on when strongly back lit. She was a pleasant enough looking woman under normal lighting. With the halo of light revealing her figure and skin she became almost supernatural. The rest of today is going to be rather ordinary in comparison.

I'll remember that image every time I visit that story.

At the risk of sounding sexist I think she knew exactly what she was doing and got the effect that she/they wanted.

Please don't let me be misunderstood.
