I have been told I am a light sleeper but it don't feel that way when I nod off...usually it is total blackness from the moment I fall asleep until I wake. Many times there are no dreams to wake me or disturb my sleep. I can sleep with or without someone in the bed.

Well for the first 10 /11 years we had no problems in bed. Then we got 3 dogs two cats. Only a queen size and she started to snore (to this day she says she don't) so off to the spare room or coach I go. I can sleep through any thing I can fall a sleep in a heart beat but a snorer in my ear I can't . So it a new home 3 bedrooms she has the King size bed I have the queen the dogs are split up and one cat has a two twin bed in the third room. If guest come to visit I move back into the king bed oh did I mention the tv on and a floor fan must be on which means it is blowing on me. Mine you we are married 30 years. I get to sleep on 18'' of a king size bed.

We have a king size bed and sometimes it's as though nobody's there , however she's a cuddler so even with all that room it doesn't matter

Here's a thought! I was married for 23 yrs, the first 4 in the Navy, the next two after retirement! 6yrs of sleeping together. Then, I went to work for the railroad, and for the next 15yrs, I spent 13 on graveyard shift. So sleeping together happened twice a week. We did manage to have 3 boys in 6 yrs, but that was the first 6yrs!! We have been separated and pre-divorce for the last 3 yrs, so again, no sleeping together!!!
Last time someone slept in my bed, I did not sleep. They did.

I do find it difficult to fall asleep when sleeping solo. And animals get into the most funny of positions when they sleep - the cat and kittens is very cute.

Do you have a hard time sharing a bed with someone?

Only if they snore or sleep wildly.

Was it something you got used to?

Lets just say I would rather have a woman in the bed with me than to sleep alone.

Are you a person that has trouble sleeping alone?

Nope

Been sleeping single all my life so when I had a lady friend come to stay one night, I did worry how it was going to go. But I think we managed ok.

Alarm was set for 6:30am for her to get the bus to the airport so no lie-in!

Good Morning J

I have not slept with anyone on a daily basis since 2000, when I moved to Germany. The longest period of sharing a bed since, is probably 2 to 3 weeks while on Holiday with Girlfriends.
I haven't however found sharing a bed a problem, I would quite look forward to sharing on a regular basis

Doing the long distance thing with the GF... almost a year now. It takes us days to get back to being able to sleep well in the same bed when we are under the same roof!

Do you have a hard time sharing a bed with someone?

It would wholly depend on the woman I'm sharing it with.

I'm really lucky....I have no problem in sleeping at all. My Dad used to say you could peg me out on a clothes line by my ears and I would still sleep all night.

I just ADORE having my double bed all to myself!!!

I'm finally sleeping better after 3 months of constant pain in my leg!
I'm used to sleeping on my own but I do miss the company of a woman...who'd give me an excuse to go to bed earlier!

I don't have trouble sleeping..period..She has trouble sleeping with me. ...separate bedrooms for 11 years now, except when we are traveling or camping.
She claims I snore too loud......so does she!!!....I don't hear anything after I fall asleep
