"...was pointing the gun at the ceiling to make sure it was not loaded..." You'd think this was something he'd do before bringing the weapon into an enclosed space. I guarantee you everyone else in that room had some ringing in their ears after that. This is just 17 different kinds of dumb.

A "teacher" and a reserve police officer. And dumb as a bag of hammers.  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Hmmm.... He accidentally pulled the trigger.  Must be the same guy that teaches Baltimore police gun safety. They just don't aim at the ceiling.

sighs. and yet this did not make the nightly news here in Boston. i want to scream but Charlie hates it when i do. You cannot conceive the many without the one.

Just a few days ago there was some mother who had posted on her FB wall that she loved her guns and that no one could ever take her gun away. The next day after posting that, her 4 year old found her loaded gun without the safety on and accidentally shot his mother in the back. Um, guns.
