That's funny. I did text an ex 'by mistake on purpose' and when she responded, I remembered why she was an ex and regretted it.

how about you? have you ever texted an ex 'by mistake'?
I don't text much so no. The only mistake was certain exs.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Never an ex. I only have one ex's number and we get along.

texted an intimate acquaintance one time at 5am in the morning; thought i was my boss and i was 'banging out' for the day. it was an honest mistake, ya see they both have similar names and at 5am my eyes were only 1/2 open.

well, after 10m of waiting for a reply from my boss, i looked at my phone and realized it was the wrong rob/bob. man, was HE annoyed at me, 'telling me don't ever text him at that hour and it could've caused a problem. jeeez, never do that again

but i have also received text msgs by mistake too. a friend texted me a 'hey let's fuck and when i looked at the number i replied back. she was
because that was meant for the bf and not me; we laughed about it later.

Nope, but I have been messaged 'by mistake' and chose to block the number quite deliberately...........

i don't text unless i reallly have to so it would difficult to do it by mistake. and my ex is old school and doesn't have a cell phone and is also one of my fav people that i see almost daily......so, no point, really.

but i have sent drunken missives via phone late at night to a certain someone and then cursed myself the next morning / we are all just one tequila shot away from being a fool.

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

Text? No.

But before we had the option to text? Did I call an ex? Unfortunately yes. One I was desperately in love with and not over yet. The other was because I was horny and too lazy to go find a new lover.

Never, and I am especially cautious when sending a naughty photo.

I'm not sure my ex-wife still has the same number, but it's still in my phone's directory. We don't communicate much (too much emotional roller coaster for her), and when we do it's by e-mail.

If I were ever to communicate with the evil ex-girlfriend, it would definitely be a mistake, unless it were through legal channels. But her name isn't sufficiently similar to anyone else in my phone's directory for me to communicate by accident.

I'm not longer in touch with most of the women I dated before my first wife, and I don't think I have phone numbers for any of them. I'm on good (or at least neutral) terms with all of those I know how to contact. I interact through Facebook fairly frequently with one distant-past fling; the things that made us friends enough to lead us into the fling are still reason to remain friends. But without phone numbers, accidents don't happen.
