I have 200 mps wireless internet. Amazon Fire TV. I currently have Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu and Fubo as additional streaming services. I get local channels through Fire TV's antenna. I pay about 40% of what I used to spend on a cable/internet/phone package. The only thing I can't get is ESPN and that's OK.

wont you have to have a high speed internet to have U*tube, isn't it a streaming deal..? I live within a short distance of a major city, I do live in the county side, I do not have city water or cable available here, 5 Years ago I kicked Dish out it was $75 every month and went up $3 every time you turn around , I installed a nice over the air TV antenna , we get all major networks, and a total of 85 channels ...and the quality of the HD is superb, the weather does not affect it and after the initial cost of the TV antenna and installation, no other cost, I am happy with it..i am not a real TV movie watcher any way, local news and weather is most of my watching along with some of the evening shows,,,

Ok so I have DirecTV and I love it!! But it's expensive but I spend too much time at home to not have reliable tv service. I also like that I can watch it when I'm away from home on the app.

But in talking to my millennial kid...Once she's out on her own, she thinks she'll just worry about getting internet and then using something like Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick plus Hulu/Netflix/HBOGo to watch various shows. Not sure that helps but her generation seems to be really pulling away from traditional cable tv providers and using different streaming services to get their tv fix.

I prefer my ghetto T V provider.
I can't justify the expense for 90%
of the programming that I have no
interest in on cable.
My woodshop was the answer!

Using more than all the road!

I dont have TV and home phone for already 7 years now, and it is really nice not to have those depressed news every day. I only pay for good internet so big saving, also I got huge amount of time to do other stuff so no way I go back to have a TV service. I only keep a TV as a device to make movie nights or stream you tube or music.
