A Study On Male Baldness- Attractive,Confident & Dominant?

Bald Men Are ‘Perceived As More  Attractive, Confident and Dominant

Many men try to prevent hair loss as they get older, but a new study has revealed that  bald men may actually be sexier to women.

The research found that hairless men are leading the way of attractiveness, and  appear more confident and dominant to the opposite sex.  The study was conducted by The University of Pennsylvania, who asked male and  female students to rate photos of men.

They had to give each picture a judgement based on three categories - attractiveness,  confidence and dominance – and bald chaps led the way across the board.

Participants consistently rated natural bald men, and those who had their scalps  digitally enhanced to be bald for the study, as stronger than those with thick or  thinning hair.

Not only this, but baldness was found to make the men appear taller. The study said: “Namely, the men were viewed as nearly an inch taller and 13 per cent  stronger when pictured with shaved heads versus with hair.

“Because only their hair was altered in these photographs, other factors cannot  account for these differences.”

And the growing trend for men to debut bald heads or shave off their head is popping  up all over Hollywood too.  The style has been made popular by the likes of Vin Diesel and Jason Statham, the  latter of which is married to none other than Victoria Secret model Rosie  Huntington-Whiteley.

The study concluded: "Instead of spending billions each year trying to reverse or cure  their hair loss, the counterintuitive prescription of this research to men experiencing  male pattern baldness is to shave their heads.

"The results of these comparisons should shed light on whether men with thinning hair  can alter their interpersonal standing by shaving their heads."

By Becky Pemberton 15th September 2017, 6:32 am Updated: 15th September 2017, 9:08 am

So ladies...what say you?

Do you find bald men attractive and sexy, or do you prefer a  man with a full head of hair? Would you consider them more confident and dominant because of their baldness, or just think it has more to do with who they are (personality  etc) period?

I don’t mind a bald man….and find them attractive. Although I do think the shape of his bald head counts a bit...lol

My last lover was a bald man-not totally bald, he had hair on  the sides, but kept that hair very short. I liked to rub his head as he performed oral on  me….lol    I'd say he was a mostly confident man, and he was what I would say a dominant man. But I'm not sure that was because of his baldness. Just who he was....

That’s not to say I wouldn’t enjoy a man with a full head of hair as well though! There's something to be said, and enjoyed by running my hands through his hair as he's down below pleasuring me!

As for  confidence and dominance...my opinion is that-that just comes from within. If being  bald bothers a man, then I think his confidence could suffer, but I'm not sure his dominant "feeling" would so much...perhaps.

Men feel free to chime in with your thoughts on your own baldness or how you perceive men who are bald.

Hair today, gone tomorrow! LOL I have been blessed (?) with a full head of hair that seem to be staying around in my late 50's. I feel confident and strong. So, I believe, like you stated, it's all about the person within, not just the amount of hair on top.

As for what to do with your hands as a man is pleasuring you orally, may I suggest grabbing my locks and pulling me tight. We both might just enjoy the hair I have been blessed (?) with then! LOL

Cum follow my blog and feel free to leave a comment. It's what makes the chat interesting!

I've been shaving my head since I was 40, but not because it was thinning, or getting bald... strictly a choice of mine as I could have a full head of hair.

Thoughts from the Garden...

I do not care if he's bald or braided as long as it is clean. I look farther than the "looks"

I've never met a bald man, but I think it depends on the shape of his head.. same as women who shave their hair. It's probably a dominant look because long hair looks a bit girly So maybe its perception rather than physical looks! but hey,, anything is better than a comb over

LOL...yes it can start to go quickly...haha My ex husband started going bald fairly early and he was in denial with the comb over. He finally decided to just shave his head and he did look better. Didn't fix the fact he was an asshole but...........lol

I do believe that the confidence comes from within, but it seems that the article or study was the perception of others based on the men's baldness.

You are lucky to be blessed with hair into your late 50's, two of my four son's are taking after their father and losing their's in their 30's.

I agree, I'm okay with either! I'm glad you approve of the pics.

They are all very attractive bald men. I too have always thought Bruce Willis is sexy!

It must be the right choice for you, since you could go either way!

I absolutely agree...cleanliness would be the more important factor involved. I look farther than looks as well. A man who is kind, caring, honest, decently intelligent and has personal integrity is more important than the way he looks any day!

I guess I'm like your last lover.....bald on top with a bit of hair on the sides that I keep very short.

Of course you have to have the head and scalp to pull that look off. Everyone does not have the proper head for it.

I'm pretty much fine with either, as long as they keep things neat and clean. You are most likely right about the men in the entertainment and even the sports industry making it more "acceptable" to be bald now.

Men see how women like them and it gives them the "go ahead" to feel better about it I think.

Yes I agree....an oddly shaped head or scaly, rough scalp would look less attractive bald. If he has no choice in his baldness I think he should definitely try to make the best of it and at least try to get his scalp in better condition through lotions etc.

He couldn't do too much about the shape of his head though...

I agree...the shape of the head matters, as does the condition of the scalp actually. I think perhaps you are right that the perception of a bald men tends to be a dominant look. I've seen pics of The Rock with a poof on his head and he definitely looks soooooo much better with a bald head....lol

A comb over is usually not a good look...example below....lol

Well that is a nice look as well, but I think the key is definitely keeping the hair on the sides short and close.

I'm good, thank you for asking! I hope you are the same!

You have a nicely shaped head, so baldness suits you! I think when a man accepts that it is happening, his confidence will be just fine. It is the men that fret and worry about it, that try to hide it or fix it...that have confidence issues.

You look good!

    Ted
I have picked up on that about you Ted (your confidence-no pic so can't tell about the hair...lol) and that's a good thing. Some men are confident in themselves no matter what, while others struggle with it for various reasons.

Women are that way as well....some confident always-some struggle always, or at times.

Really it's just a part of your "make-up" for the most part I think! But can be influenced by things going on in your life.

I think men and women tend to find confidence and politeness good qualities to have in each other. The sexes do meet on some common ground...lol
