it robs me
of my self-esteem
my self-confidence
my self-worth
who I am
it takes away
my will
my desire
it robs me
of the will
to live
to succeed
to be happy
it keeps me alone
isolated
away from life
it takes away
everything
that is life
it is death
only by
another name
it takes
everything from me
leaves me with nothing
it would even
take away my life
it is the monster
that lies
within me
an insidious disease
of the mind
of how I think
and feel
