Been missing for the best part of 2 days, I had to make a visit to Hospital yesterday. I had a problem with my CPAP machine, I have suffered from Sleep Apnoea since the mid 90's! What with an appointment with the Sleep Nurse, and then waiting for the Hospital Engineering Dept. to service my machine took most of the day. In some ways I think I was lucky, in that the problem occurred on Monday Night, and I only had two nights without my machine! Without the machine I snore terribly, and wake approx every 2 or 3 hours
I slept really well last night, given me the energy to try and catch up with my "Sea of Yellow"
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday

What a Night for Politics in the UK!!
1 referendum and now an election called by the Conservative Party, that weren't needed, except to bolster their Leaders Ego's!
They didn't learn the lessons from the Brexit Vote, which in my opinion was a protest against their policies! Yet again, the PM ignores the "People" and only talked about what a good and Strong Leader she was 
Jeremy Corbyn on the other hand, talked up the issues that affect the People, and got the best result for the Labour Party in the last 50 years in percentage terms.
Far from increasing the Conservative Majority, she has ended up with a reduced majority and a Hung Parliament! Serves her right!!

It was Twenty Years Ago Today Sgt Pepper taught the Band to Play! But it wasn't, it was 50 Years Ago Today that the Beatles Iconic Album was released!
I was in the Royal Air Force on a deployment to a Base called Butterworth in Malaya. A friend invited a few of us to his house, he told me he had the new Beatles Album! He sat me down with a beer, gave me a pair of head phones and started the Music! OMG I was blown away, I loved it!!
My question is are You a Sgt Pepper Fan, and if so can you remember where you first heard it?

However, I am so proud of the way that the ordinary people of Manchester responded! The way that they left the safety of their homes, and went to help!

I have to deliver Easter Eggs to my Grandkids on Sunday morning, then later we will all be going for a meal together 4 adults and 3 .

Yes, I'm back in the UK, did you miss me?
My flight back from Hamburg to the UK on Tuesday evening was a bit of a nightmare! Took off on time, but shortly before we were due to arrive in Manchester, they closed the airport due to an auto on fire in a subway under the runway. We were told by the crew we were diverting to another airport near London, then that was changed and we eventually landed in Birmingham. There they off loaded us and sent us on buses to Manchester, a two and a half hour bus ride, arriving there just after 11pm when we should have been there at 7.30pm. That was too late for me to catch a train home. I eventually had to pay £107 for a Taxi, which got me home at around 12.30am.
I was not a Happy Bunny

Five surgeons are discussing who were the best patients to operate on.
The first surgeon says, "I like to see Accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."
The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try Electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded."
The third surgeon says, "No, I really think Librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."
The fourth surgeon chimes in, "You know I like Construction Workers...Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end, and when the job takes longer than you said it would."
But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed, "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine, and there are only two moving parts - the mouth and the arsehole - and they are interchangeable."
