CAUGHT OUT IN THE SNOW  It snowed here a few days ago. Nottingham does not normally see snow until well after Christmas. I decided to make the most of the snow by clambering up onto the roof to fix a loose tile. It was not one of my best ideas as my onesie came undone and I ended half-naked on the roof! Do you like the snow? How much snow do you get in your winter? When was the last time you made a snowman (or snowwoman)? I love the snow, especially around Christmas, but it has been ages since I last made a snowman. I love a snowball fight when it snows. Below is an assortment of snow-themed photographs. I particularly like the first photo of soldiers throwing snowballs during the First World War, presumably they ran out of ammunition! The last photo is the Sleepwalker, a piece of installation art made by Tony Matelli; I think it is a bit creepy!        |

It’s very cold here. When it’s cold my electricity bills are about £800 per month; my heating system just eats up electricity. It’s one reason why I’m moving out of my city centre apartment into a hopefully warm bungalow on the outskirts of the city.

Do you like the snow? - I'm basically a warm weather person, but have long said if it HAS to be cold, I want snow? How much snow do you get in your winter? - NO, it has been years since we had a really big snowstorm. Around here that means 18+ inches When was the last time you made a snowman (or snowwoman)? - I can't even remember, maybe as a kid when I lived in the northeast. Around here the snow we do get tends to be dry and powdery, not very conducive to making snowmen. Hilarious pictures, especially the upside down one, and the one with the cell phone. As for "yours", well...it's a good story.  Happy HNW. What great snow pictures, thanks for sharing them with us. Do you like the snow? I love it but it NEVER snows where we live..  How much snow do you get in your winter? NONE When was the last time you made a snowman (or snowwoman)? I don't remember ever making a snow man although I really would like to someday if we can move where we actually get some snow. I hope you enjoy a sexy fun filled Hump Day... Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Haha, that top picture is a bit contrived, but the buns are noteworthy all the same! We used to reliably get a lot of snow where I live, but it's become much more variable with climate change. When we do get snow, oftentimes it's followed by a warm-up that melts most of it. I'm almost ready to give away my cross country skis.

My area gets about 64 inches of snow per season - starting any time after Halloween and going until Easter (or longer). The northern part of the state gets twice that. No wonder my state is shaped like a mitten. That last picture is taking performance art a bit too far IMO. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
